A message from Richard Palmer, Managing Director

We would like to welcome you to Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants Group with the reassurance that the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is always our priority. You can rest assured that we are going above and beyond the strict government guidelines. These guidelines are likely to change over time and our approach will be adjusted and refined accordingly.

Whilst you will undoubtedly notice some changes to keep both our guests and our teams safe, you’ll be reassured to receive the usual warm welcome from the same personable team, not to mention the exemplary service and sense of arrival you can always expect at a Devonshire property.

We are delighted to have reopened our doors and are confident that the extra safety measures, which are detailed below, will allow you to enjoy a relaxing time with us. We look forward to offering guests the warmest of welcomes, in a safe and responsible manner.

Stay safe,

Richard Palmer

Managing Director

OUR CURRENT POSITION

We are delighted to have reopened our doors and look forward to welcoming you to one of our hotels, Inns or holiday boltholes soon.

For your peace of mind when booking with us, we’ve introduced The Devonshire Promise, which guarantees that all of our properties will be clean and safe, all bookings will be amendable and cancellable and that you’ll always get the best rate when you book direct. For full details please click here.

Our hotels have been reconfigured to allow for extra lounge and restaurant space which enables social distancing. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea (where applicable) and dinner will be available on a pre-booked basis only.

At The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa, Bolton Abbey our swimming pool, gym, thermal areas and treatment rooms remain closed. We are currently working with the government guidelines to enable us to open in a safe manner. As further restrictions are lifted, we will continue to add in spa services.

Please note that we are now a cashless business and unable to accept cash payments. You will be delivered an invoice to your room, and can settle your balance at reception in person, by telephoning reception, or via a payment link that can be sent to the booking email address.

All resident and non-resident guests visiting the property will be required to provide the full name and contact details for the lead member of their party. These details may be shared with a third party in the event we are requested to do so under the Governments COVID 19 Track and Trace Policy.

Please note that from Saturday 8th August 2020, the law states that face coverings must be worn by all guests when entering the public areas of a hotel, unless you are exempt for health reasons. Face coverings are not required when seated in our restaurants and bars.
