Thor’s Cave in the Peak District is remarkable for its huge entranceway, which is 60ft tall. Although there isn’t a great deal to explore within the actual cave, the views from the entrance are fabulous. It can be reached via a footpath that starts at Wetton Mill and climbs up into the hills, where the cave stands 350 feet above the valley.
