The Cavendish Hotel is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment which will see it transformed into an exceptional contemporary country house hotel, with an emphasis on our connection to the Chatsworth Estate, our partnerships with local makers and suppliers, and the sustainable nature of the investment.
Our reception, lounge area, event spaces, Gallery Restaurant and lower floor will be fully refurbished by mid-February with the following months seeing the final areas of the hotel being revamped.
This is phase 2 of the refurbishment, with phase 1 having been completed in spring 2023 with the relaunch of The Garden Room restaurant. The extended restaurant and expansive terrace offer a bright, relaxed setting that makes the most of its position overlooking Chatsworth’s parkland, and a seasonal menu that showcases the best local produce.
The hotel has been redesigned in partnership with renowned interior designer Nicola Harding and overseen by Lady Burlington, which takes inspiration from Chatsworth art and interiors, and celebrates the best in local product and furniture design.
We wanted to give you the opportunity to be one of the first to stay at our hotel, following its reopening on Monday 19th February.
