“Searching for a venue for the event, we happened upon The Devonshire Fell, already well known as a wedding venue. Inquiries and discussions began in May for an event in September. The staff were a little bemused by the fact that 40 family members and friends would come together for the first time in 10 years, from the four corners of the globe.”

With 16 bedrooms we can sleep up to 32 adults and 10 children. We also have 2 additional cottages on the Bolton Abbey Estate, that can be rented for a minimum of 3 nights to take your numbers up to 48 adults and 10 children. We can accommodate a formal sit down meal for up to 70 guests, with plenty of room for dancing or a relaxed buffet or BBQ, utilising the full hotel.
