Discover Chatsworth’s fascinating history and see the work that goes on when the house is closed to the public.
Only available to guests staying at the Cavendish Hotel and the Inns at Beeley and Pilsley, these private guided tours of the house will offer insights into how the conservation teams at Chatsworth House Trust, the charity that looks after the house, collections, garden and park, look after the precious art, artefacts and furnishings in their care.
One of our experts will take you on a journey through some of Chatsworth’s most impressive and storied rooms including* the Painted Hall, the State Apartments, the Sketch Galleries, and some of the Guest Bedrooms.
Members of the conservation, textiles and collections teams are often on hand, and happy to chat with guests about the skilled work they do to care for the Devonshire Collections.
