Park Cottage is a Grade II listed, 17th Century thatched cottage located in Baslow on the edge of the Chatsworth Park. The quaint property, with a private walled garden, came into the Devonshire Estate in 1823.

Park Cottage was refurbished by the Duchess of Devonshire to create quaint self-catering accommodation for up to three guests.

Guests at Park Cottage can walk through the kissing gate park access into the 1,100 acres of Chatsworth Park. The Cavendish Hotel is also just a short stroll away in the village of Baslow, where you can enjoy afternoon tea or award-winning fine dining in The Gallery Restaurant.

Park Cottage in Detail

Ground Floor

Well equipped dining kitchen including an oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer and microwave. Bathroom with over-bath shower. Sitting room with inglenook fireplace and multi-fuel stove. Single bedroom.

First Floor

One large double bedroom with exposed cruck beams. The double bed is of artisanal wood frame.

Please note that the stairs to the first floor bedroom are an original feature. As such, they are steep and narrow, so we recommend that children are supervised when using them.

Outside

Enclosed cottage garden to rear and front. Private parking for one car out the front.

MULTI-ENTRANCE CHATSWORTH TICKETS

Visiting Chatsworth? We can provide multi-entry tickets to the house, gardens, farmyard and playground for you to use throughout your stay. These can be added to your booking by our team, who you can contact on 01756 718 111 or res@devonshirehotels.co.uk.

These tickets give you unlimited access to Chatsworth House and Garden, with free car parking for the duration of your stay. Holders of these multi-entrance tickets are also not required to book a time slot, so you have complete flexibility.

With these tickets, there’s no need to rush to view all of the wonders of Chatsworth, as you can return the following day on the same ticket to see what you missed or revisit your favourite part.

Please note that tickets must be collected from your cottage before visiting Chatsworth.

Multi-entrance tickets are not valid for admission to events such as the International Horse Trials and Country Fair. Please note the farmyard and playground are closed during the Country Fair. 

*Chatsworth tickets over the Christmas period (between 9th November and 5th January) are single entry only and prices will differ from normal multi-entry tickets. Multi-entrance tickets are not provided when Chatsworth is closed January – March.
