The single-storey detached cottage is individually designed with a mixture of antique and contemporary furnishings. The barn features a cosy wood-burning stove, with an attractive open plan lounge and dining kitchen leading to two spacious double bedrooms at each end of the cottage, both benefiting from large en suite bathrooms.

Bubnell Barn is ideally located to explore the Peak District, just two miles from Chatsworth House, with Pilsley village and the pretty market town of Bakewell close by.

Please note that Chatsworth House is closed during the winter months. Although Chatsworth House itself is closed during winter, you can take advantage of free parking on The Estate and explore the beautiful grounds, shops and restaurants, alongside miles of walking in breathtaking surroundings.

Chatsworth House is open for the annual Christmas exhibition from 7th November 2020 until 3rd January 2021 before closing for winter until March 2021 (Chatsworth House, Garden and Farmyard are closed on 24th, 25th, 26th December 2020 and 1st January 2021).

Please note that unfortunately, the maximum occupancy of our cottages cannot be exceeded at any time. Guests cannot arrange for visitors to the property or hold events (such as parties, celebrations or meetings) at the property without advance consent.
