Park Farm House occupies a secluded spot at the edge of the moorland above Chatsworth House, surrounded by meadows and woodland. The cottage is accessed via a two-mile-long private drive through Stand Wood, with the trees opening up to reveal far-reaching views of the estate from the elevated position on Beeley Moor.
The characterful farm house interior has been thoughtfully considered, with craftsmanship at the heart, featuring locally-quarried fossil worktops, hand-blocked wallpapers, and lights fashioned from oil lamps found in Chatsworth stores.
The walled cottage garden is abundant in the spring and summer months, and the well-kept lawn features an outdoor dining area. Recently featured in House & Garden Magazine, Emily Erlam redesigned the garden to include rustic stone paths and low-maintenance plantings that blend beautifully with the landscape.
Guests enjoy unrivalled access to miles of walks right from the cottage doorstep, and thousands of acres of Chatsworth parkland to roam.
