Dining at The Devonshire Fell

With two AA Rosettes and a reputation for innovative food and elegant surroundings, The Fell restaurant is an experience to savour.

Here, food is our passion. The kitchen team are committed to creating fantastic dishes, including fresh, Yorkshire produce which comes from the kitchen’s doorstep.

DINING RESERVATIONS

You’re welcome to book a table to dine with us for lunch, dinner or afternoon tea. Please note that the dining party must adhere to the government guidelines at the time of their visit. If dining inside, we’re currently able to book a maximum of two households to dine together, plus one adult if they form part of that households support bubble. We will allow a maximum of six diners per table. If your booking is for more than two households, you will be allocated separate tables. If dining outside, up to six people can dine on one table, and you may each be from a separate household. These restrictions relate to the current guidelines and will be reviewed as new guidance is released.

Pre-booking is essential. We can cater for any dietary requirements provided they are mentioned at the time of booking.

Introducing Rob Harrison, our Head Chef

Rob began his career in his aunt’s restaurant before moving on to work around the Hull and Beverley area. After a few years he decided to travel around Australia for a year, starting off in Sydney working his way up the east coast along to Melbourne—gaining experience in various kitchens along the way.

Upon his return, Rob became Sous Chef under James Mackenzie at the Pipe and Glass in South Dalton, near Beverley. He stayed there for 8 years. In that time, The Pipe and Glass gained a Michelin star, won the Michelin pub of the year, and got awarded numerous awards for culinary excellence.

Rob joined The Devonshire Fell as Head Chef in early 2015 and brings with him a wealth of fine dining experience. His food speaks for itself – simple ingredients cooked perfectly.
